1 Fast printing speed

generally, the normal printing speed of flexo can reach more than 100 m/min, but the speed of rotary convex printing machine is generally 30m/min ~ 50m/min, that is to say, the efficiency of one flexo printing machine is almost equal to that of two or even three rotary convex printing machines. 2. More suitable for standardization

The rotary embossing machine adjusts the printing color difference by controlling the ink flow and printing pressure in the ink bucket. It is very unstable in the printing process and often needs to rely on the experience of the operator to adjust it immediately. The flexographic printing machine transmits the ink amount through multiple holes on the grain. The ink amount can be adjusted by changing the roller. Once the appropriate roller is selected, the color difference changes little in the printing process, which can reduce the basis for the operator's experience to a certain extent. This is very important for the labels of mature consumer products. Customers do not want their product labels to have a deep and shallow phenomenon in the market

3. More uniform performance in spot color

as mentioned earlier, spot color is often used in label printing, especially in large areas of the field. When the rotary embossing machine prints on a large area, it is easy to have uneven ink layer or even whitening. However, such a phenomenon can hardly be seen in flexographic label products. This is also determined by the two ink transfer methods mentioned above

4. Flexographic label products are brighter and more saturated:

the color and saturation of rotary embossed products are generally lower than those of flexographic label products. This is determined by the composition of the two inks. In our company, the labels printed by the rotary embossing press that need polishing ink are transferred to the flexographic press for printing, and they often do not need to be polished to achieve the gloss required by customers. Transparent labels are often used in daily chemical products. The transparent labels printed by rotary embossing machine are dim even after printing with varnish, especially on the patterns with white background. However, they can be very bright and saturated when printed on flexographic printing machine

5. Flexographic printing machines are easier to realize the needs of combined printing.

Compared with rotary relief printing, the unit type narrow flexographic machine can easily meet this requirement. 6. Compared with embossing, flexo printing is more environmentally friendly

2. There are certain requirements for the number of starts

In addition, compared with the rotary embossing plate making, flexo plate making has higher requirements and higher costs. Therefore, flexographic printing equipment has certain requirements on the starting printing quantity.
